Thrills and Triumphs: Jos Verlooy wins the CSI3* 1.50m Jumping in Polo Club St-Tropez

The sun-drenched French Riviera witnessed an exhilarating showcase of equestrian excellence at the CSI3* 1.50m Jumping competition held at the prestigious Polo Club St-Tropez. With top riders and their exceptional steeds competing, the event was a true spectacle for horse enthusiasts and sports lovers alike. As the dust settled on the pristine turf, Jos Verlooy was the one victorious in the saddle of Fts Killossery Konfusion.

Claiming the top spot in the competition was Belgian rider Jos Verlooy, who guided the magnificent Fts Killossery Konfusion to a flawless performance. This impressive duo demonstrated their prowess by completing the challenging course with a double clear round in a lightning-fast time of 66.37 seconds. The 13-year-old grey gelding, sired by Siec Livello and out of the mare Cruising, showcased its exceptional jumping abilities. Jos Verlooy's partnership with Fts Killossery Konfusion earned them a well-deserved 6,550 euros in prize money. Securing the second position was French rider Julien Anquetin riding Cesus de Fougnard (Tlaloc M). The pair delivered a flawless performance with a double clear round, clocking in at 67.57 seconds. Taking the third spot on the podium was another French rider, Nicolas Delmotte, aboard Ilex VP (Diamant de Semilly). They executed a perfect double clear round in 68.31 seconds. 

Edward Levy (FRA) secured the fourth position riding Igins du Seigneur (Inshallah de Muze). In the fifth position was Swiss rider Romain Duguet, who rode Hunger Games du Champ du Bois (Elvis ter Putte).
