22 year old Thais Meheust passed away after bad fall in cross-country

It's a sad day for the eventing world. The FFE (French Federation) stated that the 22 year old French rider Thais Meheust sadly passed away this morning after a bad fall. Meheust was competitng at the French Championships for young horses this week. She had a bad fall in the cross-country and did not survive. 


According to the FFE Meheust and her Chaman Domontceau (Top Berlin du Temple) got in to trouble at the second jump in the cross-country.

She was a strong competitor at severel Europeans for Pony's, Junior's and Young Riders and took home three gold team medals over the years.
