46 horses continue to showjumping at Badminton Horse Trials

Forty six horses will go forward to today’s showjumping following this morning’s horse inspection.Becky Woolven (GBR) withdrew over night and therefore did not present Charlton Down Riverdance in front of the Ground Jury, while five horses were sent to the hold box on the day. Zagreb (Alexander Bragg GBR) was sent to the hold box, as was Malinhead Clover (Lissa Green GBR), before both riders decided to withdraw. Three other horses sent to the hold box all passed when represented. They included Piaf De B’Neville (Astier Nicolas FRA), Billy The Red (Tina Cook GBR) and Samuel Thomas II (Oliver Townend GBR). After the inspection, Irish eventer Ciaran Glynn’s groom Jessica Cudden was awarded the Treehouse Sporting Colours prize for ‘the Groom who puts in the most effort towards the care of their horse over the week,’ as judged by the Stable Manager.
