Barb Crabo on top in CCI3* at Galway Downs

The third leg of the 2016 USEA Gold Cup Series was organized last weekend in Temecula, Calif at Galway Downs. The Championship will conclude this year's Nutrena USEA American Eventing Championships in Tryon, N.C. In Temevula it was Barb Crabo and her trusted Eveready who won the CCI*** division. The pair finished on a score of 57.0. After the dressage the combination placed third with 52.0 points. At that moment it were Mackenna Shea and Landioso who were in the lead. Through out the show jumping they kept their position but noted 4.4 penalties during the cross-country, finishing that part as last. collecting a total of 59.7 points the pair finished second. Andrea Baxter and Indy 500 didn't show a lot of potential during the dressage and showjumping finishing 6th and fifth. But the cross country part proved to be their strength, finishing as only clear combination. Concluding in a final third spot. The top five was completed by Tamara Smith (Twizted Syster) and Jordan Linstedt (Revitavet Capato)
