Izzy Taylor and James Avery lead after second dressage day in Le Lion d'Angers

British Izzy Taylor is currently leading the competition board in Le Lion d'Angers at the World Championships for six-year-old eventing horses. She noted 37,6 penalties with Monkeying Around. Australian Paul Tapner follows in second place with Bob Chaplin (38,1 penalties). Sarah Bullimore and Corquet are in third place with 41 penalties. With the seven-year-olds, it's New Zealander James Avery with Vitali at the lead for now. The combination gathered a total of 42 penalties. Second place is in French hands with Jean Lou Bigot and Aktion de Belheme (44 penalties), third place went to German rider Stephanie Böhe and Classic Royetta (44,2 penalties). With such close penalties, the cross country day tomorrow will certainly change a lot in the leaderboard.
