"The horse has managed to escape from its stall. There are no issues with flying, but we need to return to New York because we can't secure the horse," the pilot says in an audio clip to air traffic control.

The Boeing 747 was en route from New York to Belgium, carrying thousands of kilograms of fuel. To make a safe landing, 20 tons of fuel had to be dumped over the Atlantic Ocean.
