The Belgian auction house, Equbreeding.auction, has announced its dates for this year. Equbreeding.auction is the Belgian auction house that originally made a name for itself with the sale of Das Machine EQ Z—the full brother of Emerald van 't Ruytershof—for 360,000 euros.
However, this is not the only impressive reference for this young auction house. A few years ago, Equbreeding.auction sold the last embryo of Cordula de Laubry for 124,000 euros. To this day, it remains the most expensive embryo ever sold.
"Once again this year, we want to focus on quality (Belgian) breeding," they stated. "We will connect a carefully selected group of foals, exclusive embryos, and—in Geel—young showjumpers with new owners. In doing so, we are committed to providing an optimal after-sales service, as the goal remains to form great new combinations that can dominate the sport."
