by Equnews Editorial
Sea Coast Don't Touch Tiji Hero (Diamant de Semilly x China Touch Hero) is a stallion who, despite no longer being in the sport after a trivial accident, has already made a great deal of noise in competition and through his offspring. Today we are putting him in the spotlight!
Sea Coast Don't Touch Tiji Hero(Diamant de Semilly x China Touch Hero) is a name that continues to resonate! After a trivial accident, his sporting career was put 'on hold', but his strong qualities carry on in his progeny, that much is clear! With seven licensed offspring and approximately 40 horses active at an international level, this stallion provides a guarantee of sporting success!
The son of Diamant de Semilly, out of the mare China Touch Hero (Chin Chin x Caretino), is a combination for sporting success. Furthermore, China Touch is the dam of Akarad Hero Z, Pieter Clemens' five-star Grand Prix horse. Everything indicates that Don't Touch is an outstanding breeding stallion who passes on his qualities. For instance, he is the sire of the young stallion Dourkan Hero Z, out of Zinka de Kalvarie Z (Zandor Z x Calvaro Z). Dourkan was the top-selling stallion at the Zangersheide stallion selection and was subsequently purchased by Zangersheide.
Sea Coast Don't Touch Tiji Hero is the sire of several 1.60m horses! Such as Abdel Said's Desiree DR Z (ds. Quinar) and Platini de Kalvarie (ds. For Pleasure). From the De Kalvarie breeding stable, we also see Gilles Thomas' former mount Pukas de Kalvarie (ds. For Pleasure). The stallion was discovered at the time by Gudrun Patteet. "You couldn't ignore him," Gudrun smiles. "I saw him for the first time in Hulsterlo, where he jumped a 1.20m training course. He simply had everything: charisma, canter, and technique. You couldn't take your eyes off him; everyone saw that. Don't Touch was by far the best of his year. We know the story of his injury, but because he was so exceptionally good, it would be a shame for the breeding world not to utilize him as a sire!"
