Peter Bollen: "Next year we want to go full force with the FEI Pony Trophy..."

In Mechelen the International FEI Pony Trophy delivered beautiful sport and hope for the future. The Pony Trophy was developed years ago by Belgium's Peter Bollen. "After COVID we want to go bigger and more professional with this concept, that is a fact," says Bollen.

"Every year the level and difficulty in our sport increases. The concept of the Pony Trophy is to form a foundation with the youth," continues Bollen. "Despite the COVID pandemic our sport has evolved drastically in the past two years, we can't stay behind."

"Next year we are back with four qualifiers in Herning, Lyon, Stuttgart and Salzburg. The final of our competition series will be in Mechelen."
