Cian O' Connor takes over reins from Urvoso de Roch

The CSI 4* Bourg-en-Bresse got underway in the Ain on Wednesday. In the opening class, with a height of 1.40m, we found a confident Urvoso de Roch under the saddle of... Cian O'Connor.

The Olympic partner of Nicolas Delmotte, with whom he had notably won the CSIO 5* Grand Prix in La Baule and the CSI 5* in Chantilly, the Selle Français v. Nervoso had been sold after the CSIO 5* in Aachen last summer to the Wachman family, whose two sons are trained by Cian O'Connor. He has been competing with seventeen-year-old Tom Wachman since October, placing in 1.40m and 1.45m until last weekend. This week the fourteen-year-old gelding will compete with his coach, a dynamic merchant and rider who is always motivated by the very high level. The individual bronze medalist of the London Olympics will also ride his newest acquisition, C Vier, silver team medalist of the Longines Europeans in Riesenbeck with German David Will.
