Jordy Van Massenhove sees Gaga E D'Augustijn leave his stable

Jordy van Massenhove announced the sale of his 12-year-old mare Gaga E D'Augustijn (by Bustique) via his social media.

Van Massenhove took over the mare's reins from Gudrun Patteet in July 2020. Together they rode successfully at the highest level of the sport, something to which Gaga contributed immensely for Van Massenhove. Just last year in October, the duo rode to second place at the World Cup in Helsinki.

Who the new rider will be is not yet known.

"This is it, the end of our road together. Words cannot describe how much you mean to me," in Van Massenhove' post. "The horse that brought out the best in me and gets a smile on my face anytime. Thank you for making me the rider I am today, best of luck in your new home."
