The Live & Online Equestrian-Auctions.Com auction drew quite a crowd to Stal de Eyckenhoeve in Geel on Friday. In the end, the embryo of Emerald van ’t Ruytershof out of HH Azur was the highest-selling lot at 56,000 euros.
The most expensive foal is Explosion. The Ermitage Kalone son out of daughter of Centa de Muze is moving to Germany for 28,000 euros. For the mare Sunshine Ter Leydonck, covered by Cumthago, and her foal Classy Ter Leydonck (by Comilfo Plus), a bidder in the room paid 32,000 euros.
“There turned out to be considerable national and international interest in the collection,” the organizers reported. “Foals have been sold to Belgium, Germany, Chile, Spain, Australia, the United States, the Netherlands, and more…”
1,250 euros for Hope For Lili
