On Saturday, bidding was lively during the live auction of P.S.I. With a turnover of just under 21,000,000 euros, the six-year-old Chacoontilotta PS was crowned the auction topper.
The fifth horse presented, the six-year-old Chacoontilotta PS (Chacoon Blue), delivered an absolute record. The mare already has several international starts under her belt with Zascha Nygaard. She was ultimately sold for 3.5 million euros!
The most expensive dressage horse was the four-year-old son of Jameson RS2, Jongleur. The stallion changed hands for 1.9 million euros. Bidding was eager during the auction. For example, an American buyer purchased the approved stallion Neron (Cornet Obolensky) for 825,000 euros.
In total, the auction achieved a turnover of 20,690,000 euros, with an average price for the dressage horses of 320,208 euros and 500,192 euros for the jumping horses.
