On Friday, the Live & Online auction of Equbreeding.auction was held during the CSI2* in Bonheiden. A carefully selected collection of foals was sold both in the room and online. The auction top seller was Hot Touch L Z, a son out of the sister to Richard Vogel's top stallion, United Touch 'S'.
A buyer in the room came out on top after an exciting bidding duel with Saudi Arabia. "It's fantastic that there is so much international interest in our beautiful foals and strong bloodlines! Still, we also notice that the market has changed," said the organizers, after 73% of the foals ultimately found a new owner.
The second highest price was for Unchained T40 Z. A son of United Touch 'S' out of the dam No Mercy van 't Roosakker. The colt was sold to the United States of America for 20,000 euros.
In the meantime, the organizers are getting ready for the Live & Online auction in Geel. On September 15th, the focus will be on breeding, along with a selection of exceptional show jumpers!
