After a Jump-Off with six combinations USA's Aaron Vale jumped to the win in the $226,000 Sapphire Grand Prix of Devon. Aboard his Carissimo 25 (follow this horse in your Equnews account) he claimed the win in 33.7 seconds.
On Thursday Lima Anderson set a challenging Grand Prix finishing with a bend line towards the double combination and final oxer. In the end USA's Aaron Vale jumped to victory, as last to go, in 33.7 seconds aboard Carissimo Group's Carissimo 25 (Cascadello I x T-Clintissima). The pair was followed by Shane Sweetnam and his Zangersheide-gelding, Coriaan van Klapscheut Z (Comme Il Faut x Iliana Van Klapscheut).
Sweetnam and his nine-year-old gelding advanced on Alex Matz and KWPN-stallion, Ikigai (Elvis ter Putte x Okori-Retti B).
After a faultless finish in 35.32 seconds, Alexandra Worthington guided her SF-gelding, De L'Oiseliere (Kapitol d'Argonne x Miss Flight) to the fourth place. With the second fastest time, but one jumping fault, Chloe Reid completed the top five aboard Crossover 4 (Cascadello x Chakira).
