Yesterday, a Nations Cup took place in Vejer de la Frontera, and today, there was again intense competition at the international level. The main event of the day was a CSIO3* 1.50m class, held in two phases. The victory went to Abdelkebir Ouaddar, who, riding Baccarat Meniljean (by Diamant de Semilly), managed to record a faultless round in 26.54 seconds.
This made him just slightly faster than Cian O'Connor, who rode his new mount Funky Fred Marienshof Z (by Fantomas de Muze) to second place. O'Connor recently took over the reins of the Zangersheide stallion, but this didn’t stop him from delivering a faultless round in 26.98 seconds. Raleigh Hiler and Lennox vd Bisschop (by Baloubet du Rouet) completed the podium with a clear round in 27.33 seconds.
The top five was rounded out by Santiago Diaz Ortega (Carpi DV Z) and Teresa Blazquez-Abascal (Nasa de Toxandria).
