The Longines Global Champions Tour today announces that German rider Jana Wargers will not compete in the 2025 Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix at the GC Prague Playoffs on Saturday 22 November due to injury.
Wargers, who secured her golden ticket at the final stage of the season following an outstanding LGCT Grand Prix victory in Riyadh, has been forced to withdraw. All definite entries for the GC Prague Playoffs have already been formally submitted, meaning her qualification spot cannot be reassigned. As a result, this year’s LGCT Super Grand Prix will see 15 elite riders go head-to-head for one of the sport’s most prestigious titles.
Jana explained: “I’m very sad not to be in Prague this week. I have a small injury, but I’m looking forward to being back in the saddle very soon. I would like to thank my team, the Basel Cosmopolitans and the Straumann family for the amazing opportunities this year. It has been a fantastic season, and I would also like to thank the Longines Global Champions Tour for bringing me to such incredible shows. I’m already looking forward to being back on the Tour.”
