Aleksandra Hearst secures another Spanish victory with European Gold in Childrens final

On Saturday, the European Championship team medals for the Children were distributed. This morning the competition was for the individual European medals. After two 1.30m rounds, seven combinations qualified for the jump-off. 

The Spanish rider, Aleksandra Hearst already had a bronze team medal in her pocket. Last at the start, the Spanish rider rode to the European individual gold. Saddled with SF gelding, Corelien (Paramo K), the rider kept it wrong in the ultimate jump-off and rode to the gold.

Sani Illi and Backwoods Chellenger (Chacco-Blue) followed on silver ahead of Brianne Beerbaum with Carrero T Z (Carrera VDL) in this championship.

Just outside the top three was Charlie Flynn with Elia (Wizzerd WV) ahead of Liv Linssen and Cini W Z (Comme Il Faut). Linssen managed to clear the jump-off and briefly looked forward to a medal but eventually had to settle for fifth place.
