The victory in the 1.55m Prize of iWEST was awarded on Saturday evening, after a jump-off with 10 combinations. In the end, Bas Moerings kept the competition behind him with his homebred mare, Kivinia (I'm Special de Muze).
Bas Moerings and the 10-year-old KWPN mare, Kivinia (I’M Special de Muze), seem unstoppable in Stuttgart. Moerings raced to the win in 48.56 seconds, finishing just under a second ahead of Hans-Dieter Dreher and the 13-year-old gelding, Cous Cous 3 (Cachas). In third place in this 1.55m main class followed Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida and the 13-year-old, Gb Diamantina (Diamant de Semilly).
Also clear, Maximilian Weishaupt took fourth place. Weishaupt guided the 13-year-old stallion, Zuccero HV (VDL Zirocco Blue), through the finish as the slowest clear round.
With the fastest time of the class but one jumping fault, Sophie Hinners completed the top five aboard the nine-year-old Zangersheide mare, Iron Dames Kaleni Jo (Kannan).
