Israeli rider Daniel Bluman claimed victory in the CSI4* 1.45m Jet Run Devon Welcome Stake on Tuesday at the 2025 Devon Horse Show. Partnered with the 14-year-old mare Gemma W (Luidam x Unaniem), Bluman topped a competitive field of 43 horse-and-rider combinations in the $38,700 class, presented by Meridian Bank.
Bluman and Gemma W delivered a clear round in 56.21 seconds, securing first place in this Longines Rankings Group D qualifier. His cousin, Mark Bluman of Colombia, took second aboard Ubiluc (Ubiko x Lucian), finishing just 0.86 seconds behind. Emily Dehoff (USA) and Manou de Muze (Arko III x Quidam de Revel) rounded out the podium in third place with a time of 57.56 seconds.
“The atmosphere here is just lovely,” Daniel Bluman said in a press release from Phelps Media Group. “The people are very kind. You have a knowledgeable crowd, and it’s a tradition for them to come and be part of the show. As riders and professionals, it’s our responsibility to support events like this—they’re what keep the sport alive.”
The win marks a strong start to the week for Bluman at one of North America’s most historic and beloved equestrian events.
