Joy all around at home in Saint-Lô, France. On Thursday evening, Roger-Yves Bost raced to a French victory in the 1.50m CSI4* main event. “Bosty” outpaced the competition with the 14-year-old Selle Français mare Ballerine du Vilpion (Baloubet du Rouet).
Bost and the 14-year-old daughter of Baloubet du Rouet (breeder: C. Legros) claimed the win in the feature class with a time of 59.34 seconds. The pair finished just over a second ahead of Pello Elorduy Ibarzabal with Champenoise de Rampan (Voltigeur de Rampan).
Charles Hubert Chiche secured an international top-three finish aboard the 15-year-old SF stallion Andain du Thalie (Calvaro F.C.). The Luxembourger narrowly stayed ahead of Belgium’s Dries Dekkers.
Just outside this top three, Dries Dekkers finished fourth with Pommery van het Ijzeren Lindehof (Kasanova de la Pomme). After a clear round, Belgian rider Dylan Ringot with Oakley Ter Wijnen (I’M Special de Muze) followed close behind.
