Throughout their breeding careers, both mares consistently produced quality offspring. Their oldest progeny progressed to the very top of the sport, competing successfully at 1.60m level and confirming the mares’ ability to transmit scope, rideability and durability.

Beyond their sport-producing qualities, both Zarnita and Fragile D’Or also produced a licensed stallion, underlining their importance from a genetic perspective. Today, their influence continues through second-generation offspring, ensuring that their bloodlines remain firmly embedded in the stud’s future.

The farewell was marked with heartfelt words from the team, describing them as “exceptional broodmares whose influence will be felt for generations to come.”

While their passing closes an important chapter, the legacy of Zarnita and Fragile D’Or remains very much alive — in breeding barns and competition arenas alike.
