Jumpy van de Hermitage established his name at the top level with Belgian rider Abdel Said. The duo made international waves, with the absolute highlight being their participation in the World Equestrian Games (WEG) in Tryon in 2018. The following year, they confirmed their class by achieving an impressive tenth place in the final standings of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Final in Gothenburg. Their partnership laid the foundation for Jumpy's reputation as a reliable and exceptionally talented show jumper.

A new chapter began in 2021 when the Israeli top rider Isabella Russekoff took over the reins. Under her capable guidance, Jumpy continued to meet the challenges of the sport and maintained his status in the most demanding competitions. For Russekoff, Jumpy was not only a competitive horse but also a crucial mentor. The experienced gelding guided her development into a world-class Grand Prix rider.

Russekoff shared her deep gratitude on Instagram:

"Happy retirement to my best friend, Jumpy. I am so lucky to have been part of your amazing career. In just three weeks, we climbed from the 1.45m level to my first 3*, 4*, and 5* Grand Prix."

She emphasized the incredible influence Jumpy had:

"I truly never imagined I could jump 1.60m until I sat on Jumpy. I am eternally grateful for him being the perfect 5*-teacher for me. He is so loving and sweet. I am so excited for him to spend the rest of his days in huge pastures full of friends."
