Changed blood rule in show jumping adopted by a large majority at FEI General Assembly! “This shows the outside world that we know what we’re talking about!”

During the FEI General Assembly, the national federations approved the amendment of the so-called blood rule by majority vote. For the amendments to Article 259, the federations requested a separate vote, and 73.68% approved the changes. Prior to this, several federations (Germany, Denmark, Austria, and Sweden) had indicated they would vote against. Starting next year, the amendment of the so-called blood rule will come into effect… meaning that if blood is found on a horse, it will not automatically result in elimination. But what will happen instead?
