The 1.50m main class in Vejer de la Frontera was decided after a jump-off featuring 18 riders. In the end, Cian O’Connor claimed victory with the 11-year-old mare Canbella Blue PS (Cantolar, breeder: Paul Schockemöhle).
Cian O’Connor and the 11-year-old daughter of Cantolar sped to the win in 21.14 seconds. The pair proved to be about two seconds faster than Carlee McCutcheon and the 14-year-old mare Aralyn Blue (Chacco-Blue, breeder: Franjo Udovc). Dutch rider Rogier Linssen completed the top three.
Linssen rounded out the 1.50m podium with his 10-year-old mare Moneypenny (Sea Coast Don’t Touch Tiji Hero).
Just outside the top three, Armando Trapote guided the 11-year-old gelding Caept’n Hook (Conthargos) into fourth place. Also clear, Max Kühner finished off the top five aboard the 12-year-old KWPN gelding EIC Quantum Robin V (Carambole).
