Out of the fifty-four pairs that competed this afternoon in the Prix Mâconnaise des Eaux by Véolia, twelve qualified for the jump-off against the clock. Once again, French rider Benoît Cernin, already the winner of two events this weekend, delivered the fastest final round, clocking in at 43.08 seconds, securing victory with Dynamite du Miral. Just a few hundredths behind, Swiss rider Pius Schwizer took second place with Opalocka du Roton, finishing in 43.33 seconds. Brazilian Pedro Junqueira Muylaert and Captain Ciwano completed the podium in this 1.50-meter class, which served as a qualifier for Sunday’s Grand Prix. Spain also achieved a strong showing with Sira Martinez Cullell and Otti Verdu Vidal finishing fourth and fifth, respectively.
