Daniel Deusser delivered a winning performance in the CSI5* 1m45 class against the clock at the Longines Global Champions Tour in Valkenswaard. The German rider produced the fastest clear round of the class, taking the victory aboard Navarro van het Eelshof in 56.62 seconds.
Daniel Deusser and the 13-year-old Navarro van het Eelshof (Jappelloup vh Dauwhof) set the standard with a faultless performance, finishing nearly a second ahead of the runner-up. Yuri Mansur came closest to challenging the German, riding Incanto VDL (Kannan) to another clear round in 57.52 seconds, good for second place.
Sanne Thijssen completed the podium in the saddle of Farah Z (For Pleasure). The Dutch rider kept all the poles up and stopped the clock at 58.61 seconds. Ines Joly followed in fourth with Faylinn de Fondcombe (Lando) in 59.14 seconds, while Gregory Wathelet completed the top five aboard Bond Jamesbond de Hay (Diamant de Semilly) with a clear round in 69.79 seconds.
