The competition was fierce, but Kenny’s veteran partner proved unbeatable. However, the international leaderboard remained tight. Israel’s Ashlee Bond continued her strong run of form, claiming the runner-up spot aboard Comme Ci Comme Ca (Comme il faut x Baloubet du Rouet). For Bond and 9-year-old it is a successful international debut. In the past the mare was competed by Dutch Gerco Schröder and later, USA's Savannah Jenkins.

Representing the home nation, Marilyn Little (USA) rounded out the podium with an impressive performance on the 8-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding, Narado (Grandorado TN N.O.P. x Purioso)

Further down the order, American veteran Laura Kraut secured an eighth-place finish in the 33-strong field riding Kaylee.

The pair has been on a remarkable trajectory; just last week, they celebrated a milestone victory at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, winning the CSI2* Grand Prix. That win—also over a 1.45m track against 33 starters—marked Kaylee's first-ever Grand Prix title, signaling a bright future for the mare as she steps up to the 5* level in Wellington.
