Abdullah Alsharbatly has made a name for himself twice in Rabat. In the 1.45m Grand Prix qualifier, the Saudi Arabian show jumper claimed victory with Atome des Etisses (Mylord Carthago HN). Alsharbatly and the 14-year-old SF stallion narrowly edged out Simon Delestre and Eric Polfliet's bred mare, Olga van de Kruishoeve (El Torreo de Muze).
Alsharbatly dominated the 1.45m CSI4* w Grand Prix qualifier. Just a few hundredths of a second behind was Simon Delestre with the 10-year-old BWP mare, Olga van de Kruishoeve (El Torreo de Muze). Delestre thus stayed ahead of Ramzy Al Duhami with the 10-year-old Messenger mare, Addressee.
Just outside the top three, Ines Joly finished with the nine-year-old Lando mare, Faylinn de Fondcombe. Alvaro Gonzalez De Zarate Fernandez completed the top five in the saddle of Casa Diva PS (Casallco). Belgian strongwoman Marine Scauflaire proved her worth by guiding her 11-year-old Hortus d'Hoogpoort (Diamant de Semilly) to a faultless eleventh place.
Earlier, Alsharbatly also won the 1.40m CSIO4*w with the 15-year-old Boeckmanns Lord Pezi Junior (Böckmann's Lord Pezi).
