This evening, the KNHS, under the guidance of Dutch national coach Wout-Jan van der Schans, announced the team selection for the FEI Jumping World Championship in Aachen. Prior to the announcement, Harrie Smolders had already revealed that it would be an all-male team.
Earlier, Sanne Thijssen announced that she was withdrawing Cupcake Z from the longlist due to a minor injury. The Dutch team for Aachen has now been finalized:

Van der Schans is looking ahead positively to the World Championships. "I already feel like we are ready," says the national coach. "I just hope the riders don't take too many risks in these final weeks, because everyone is looking fit!"
