Australian rider Edwina Tops-Alexander has announced that her LGCT season has come to an early end. "Unfortunately, I had shoulder surgery following a fall at the stables. This means an early end to my season," Tops-Alexander shared.
"Thank you so much to my husband, friends, and sponsors, as well as the team at Tops Stables, for all the warm messages and support. Now I will focus on a (speedy) recovery," the rider continued. "I will be watching the sport from the sidelines for a bit, but I won't be sitting still. The focus is also on a few exceptional projects now. There's plenty to look forward to..."
Following the LGCT Grand Prix in Rome, the Australian rider was sitting fifth in the LGCT rankings with 192 points.
