After a particularly successful period on the international stage, Jules Van Hoydonck and Elize Z are parting ways. The mare, with whom Van Hoydonck competed up to CSI4* level and claimed multiple victories, is moving on to the Dutch rider Chiara van der Linden.
Elize Z (Elvis Ter Putte) developed into a consistent force on the international circuit over recent seasons. Under the saddle of Belgium’s Jules Van Hoydonck, she recorded an impressive 43 victories, including wins at CSI4* level. The partnership became known for its consistency, sharp jump-off performances, and strong mutual trust.
“What a journey,” said the rider and his team. “Forty-three victories since she joined us. We are incredibly proud and grateful.”
At the farewell, special attention was also given to the people behind the scenes. “Our thanks to Penelope Tuyttens for the trust,” they stated, alongside praise for the daily support: “And thank you to Wendy Wauters for her excellent guidance.”
A new sporting chapter now awaits. Elize Z will continue her career under the saddle of Chiara van der Linden. “She is heading into an exciting new adventure,” the team said with visible pride, while wishing the new owner every success in building the next phase of her sporting journey.
