Emily Moffitt has announced the passing away of her 'once in a lifetime' horse, Zagahorn (Matterhorn, breeder: C. van de Laar). "My Ziggy. From the moment my mom and I met you, we knew you were meant to be ours. An instant connection. I feel so privileged to have experienced. So many memories and countless smiles. My best friend, rest easy..."
The KWPN-gelding was aged 20-years-old.
The combination jumped together many international successes. The pair won between 2014 and 2018 international 1.45m classes in Valkenswaard, Rome as well as Oliva. In Rome the combination also claimed the CSI2* Grand Prix.
