What began as a local breeder’s dream has grown into an international success story. Belgian breeders Rob Van Gorp and Inge Mertens look back with pride on the remarkable career of Nand van ’t Bergske (Scendix x Vigo d'Arsouilles), their homebred horse who recently claimed victory in the CSI3 Grand Prix (1.50m)* in Beijing under top rider Daniel Deusser. “Around the age of ten, he was constantly finishing among the top. That’s when you start to dream as a breeder,” Rob and Inge recall.
