British show jumper Joe Stockdale has announced the sporting retirement of his trusted Cacharel (Cachas x Quinar Z, breeder: Helmut Bohm). "I have so much to thank you for," the Brit wrote on social media. "This mare has given me some of my best (sporting) memories."
Cacharel was brought up through the international ranks by Joe's father, Tim. Highlights with Joe include a team bronze medal at the FEI World Championship in Herning. At the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, the combination served as the reserve pair. Recently, the duo also won the CSI4* Grand Prix in Arezzo.
