Later today in Helsinki, a 1.50m class of the CSI5* competition is scheduled, but in the meantime, an Accumulator class at a height of 1.45m was held as a warm-up for tonight's main event. Twenty-four combinations participated, and ultimately, Petra Heikkinen secured a Finnish victory. Riding the 12-year-old KWPN mare Hurby (by Namelus R), she collected the maximum points and finished in 45.54 seconds.
This put her ahead of another rider, Katharina Rhomberg, who took second place with Lust For Life (by Douglas). Her 8-year-old stallion also kept all the rails up, finishing in 50.11 seconds. Female riders dominated in this class, as third place also went to a woman: Pipsa Koski rode Iprimero (by El Primero) faultlessly, completing the course in 50.62 seconds, earning her the bronze.
The top five was rounded out by Simine Coata and Jordy van Massenhove. Coata rode the BWP gelding Jakko (by Vagabond de la Pomme) to a clear finish in 50.75 seconds, while Massenhove, riding Billy Etna (by Billy Congo), finished without faults, clocking in at 52.46 seconds.
