On Friday, May 23, 2025, David Will claimed victory in the CSI4* 1.45m class at the DKB Pferdewoche in Hohen Wischendorf, Germany. Riding the 10-year-old mare Xixo Borgia, a daughter of Big Star and Sandro Boy, Will posted the fastest time of 57.55 seconds to take the win. The top four positions in the class were all secured by German riders, with Michael Kölz, Richard Vogel, and Felix Hassmann following Will in second, third, and fourth place respectively.
Xixo Borgia is owned by Saudi Arabian rider Ramzy Al Duhami, who also competed in the class and finished fifth with another horse, Addressee. Will described Xixo Borgia as a big, kind horse with a great attitude, noting that he regularly trains her. This win was a special home success for Will at the prestigious German event.
