Following the World Cup in Mechelen, the Western European season moves to Basel, Switzerland. A top-tier field of participants is set for this eighth leg of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup. Among those competing is the current ranking leader, Willem Greve (NED).
Greve will defend his position against riders including Katharina Rhomberg (AUT), Pieter Devos (BEL), Gregory Wathelet (BEL), Yuri Mansur (BRA), Roger-Yves Bost (FRA), Simon Delestre (FRA), Hans-Dieter Dreher (GER), Marcus Ehning (GER), Denis Lynch (IRL), Kim Emmen (NED), Rodrigo Almeida (POR), and others.
Representing the home crowd will be Martin Fuchs, Bryan Balsiger, Steve Guerdat, Niklaus Rutschi, Pius Schwizer, and more.
