The second half of the Spruce Meadows Summer Tournaments, starting with the ‘Pan American’, presented by Rolex, welcomes an exciting lineup of international talent, giving fans the chance to watch many of the world's best show jumpers compete in Calgary.
With athletes representing 23 nations ready to compete, the stage is set for world-class sport as horse-and-rider combinations battle for top honours and a place in the winner's circle.
Leading the field is current world No. 2 Richard Vogel (GER). The reigning European Champion arrives at Spruce Meadows as the live contender for the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping after back-to-back victories at The Dutch Masters and CHIO Aachen. A strong performance this summer would keep him on track for a chance to complete the Grand Slam at the Spruce Meadows 'Masters' in September.
Fans will also see several athletes making their first Spruce Meadows appearances of the season, including Olympians Tiffany Foster (CAN), Daniel Bluman (ISR), and Cian O'Connor (IRL), all set to take on the International Ring. The competition doesn't stop there. Eugenio Garza Perez (MEX), Daniel Coyle (IRL), Jos Verlooy (BEL), Robert Whitaker (GBR), Donald Whitaker (GBR), Sameh El Dahan (EGY), and many more are all looking to capture victories, earn valuable world ranking points, and build momentum heading into the rest of the season.
