German showjumper Richard Vogel has shared an update regarding his 14-year-old top stallion, United Touch S. The stallion is currently receiving veterinary care following an infection that requires ongoing treatment and monitoring.
“United is currently under veterinary care after developing an infection that requires ongoing treatment and close monitoring,” Vogel shared. “He is receiving the very best care, and we are working closely with our veterinary team to support his recovery in every way possible. At this stage, it is too early to determine the timeline for his recovery. United’s health and well-being are, and will remain, our absolute priority.”
Vogel also expressed his appreciation for the support received from the equestrian community: “We know how much United means to so many people around the world, and we are very grateful for the concern, support and understanding being shown for him. We will share a further update as soon as there is meaningful progress to report.”
The entire team at EQUnews wishes United Touch S a speedy and complete recovery.
