Jan Vermeiren has officially confirmed the sale of his top horse, Qmusic-K van 't Kattenheye(Le Blue Diamond van ’t Ruytershof x Cornet Obolensky). The 10-year-old mare will represent the United States of America in the future.
At the end of last year, Vermeiren and the mare reached a career pinnacle by securing victory in the CSI5 World Cup in Riyadh*. The pair enjoyed a stellar season together, consistently achieving top-tier placings on the international stage.
The sale was facilitated through Ronan Clarke, with Qmusic-K now moving to the stables of American rider Ashley Vogel.
A Proud and Emotional Farewell
"This is a sale that makes me incredibly proud, but it is also an emotional one," Jan Vermeiren shared. "Qmusic-K was a true princess in the stable and she holds a very special place in my heart, as she does with her groom, Lyn van Son. She is an exceptional mare, and I expect many more great results from her with Ashley."
Legacy at JV Horses
While the mare begins her new chapter in the U.S., her influence remains at JV Horses. The mare will continue to be a part of their breeding program, ensuring her elite bloodlines are preserved for the future.
