No fewer than twelve combinations qualified for the jump-off of the 1.50m Grand Prix qualifier in Rouen. In the end, only one pair managed to complete the jump-off without faults. Thanks to Jules Van Hoydonck, the Brabançonne rang out afterwards.
Recently, the Belgian rider won his first CSI5* Grand Prix, and he continues his strong form with his 13-year-old daughter of Plot Blue (breeder: Tom De Craene). The pair was about one second slower than Julien Epaillard. The Frenchman followed in second place with the SF gelding Easy Up de Grandry (Jarnac). Epaillard and the 11-year-old gelding knocked one rail out of the cups.
Third place went to Julien Anquetin and the Zangersheide gelding Beau de Laubry Z (Bisquet Balou Vd Mispelaere).
Alexis Lheureux followed with For Ever de Beaumont (Cornet Obolensky), ahead of Eiken Sato and the 10-year-old Quick Boy Jmen (Quiram Jmen). Sixth place went to Jordy van Massenhove and his own 13-year-old Verdiamo Z (Verdi TN).
