In the 1.55m Stuttgart German Masters, six combinations qualified for the final jump-off. Together with his 12-year-old number one, Donatello d'Auge (Jarnac, breeder: S. Epaillard Garcia Cereceda), Julien Epaillard jumped to the ultimate victory!
In a nail-biting jump-off, the times were gradually improved. In the end, Julien Epaillard and his 12-year-old SF gelding, Donatello d'Auge, raced to the win in 31.39 seconds. The duo finished more than one second ahead of Richard Vogel with the 11-year-old Cloudio (Casall).
With a finish in 34.05 seconds, Bas Moerings completed the top three. The Dutch rider continues his strong form, having already placed several times earlier in Stuttgart. Together with his homebred KWPN mare, Kivinia (I’M Special de Muze), Moerings claimed his second prize of the week.
The pair was followed by Peder Fredricson, who with SV Vroom de la Pomme Z (Vigo d'Arsouilles) stayed ahead of Sophie Hinners and the nine-year-old KWPN gelding, Lommers (Carrera VDL).
