Nine combinations qualified this afternoon for the jump-off of the 1.45–1.50m Youngster Grand Prix in St. Tropez. The victory went to Romain Dreyfus and the eight-year-old Comme Convenu (Comme Il Faut).
Dreyfus and the eight-year-old stallion stayed just a few hundredths of a second ahead of Arthur Le Vot and Haristo du Gue (Cicero Z van Paemel). In third place came Janika Sprunger with the seven-year-old Zangersheide mare, Victory Music Z (Vigo d'Arsouilles).
The Swiss rider, with the mare bred by Walter Lelie, pushed Pénélope Leprévost into fourth place. Leprévost followed with Hileklaire Un Prince (Number One d'Iso*Un Prince), ahead of Frank Schuttert and the seven-year-old KWPN mare, Noa Cacharel V (Berlin).
