Dutch show jumper Jur Vrieling left a strong impression in Leipzig last weekend. Meanwhile, one of his top horses has made its debut with a new rider. The 10-year-old sBs stallion, Kiliman Sitte, will henceforth be seen in the ring with Robert Murphy in the saddle.
Last weekend, Murphy debuted with the son of Comme Il Faut in Vejer de la Frontera, Spain. The new duo immediately made their mark, securing two top-five finishes. The Brit takes over the reins from Jur Vrieling, who successfully competed the stallion up to 1.60m Grand Prix level.
Vrieling and the stallion enjoyed a highly successful run over the past year. The pair placed fifth in the CSIO4* EEF Nations Cup Final in Avenches and stepped onto the podium in the CSIO3* 1.50m Big Tour in Budapest, as well as during the CSIO3* EEF Nations Cup in Samorin.
Before Vrieling took over the ride, the stallion was previously campaigned by Grzegorz Psiuk (POL) and Anna Maria Kuhlmann (GER).
