On the openingday of the MLSJ CSI5* in Toronto it was world number 2, Kent Farrington who impressed with a win in the 1.40m CSI5* opening class as well as in the 1.55m Grand Prix qualifier! Aboard Descartes SR (Caramelo x Oklund) Farrington was unbeatable in the Grand Prix qualifier.
Farrington and his 9-year-old gelding Farrington was almost one second faster as Daniel Bluman and Corbie V.V. (Cornet Obolensky). Equbreeding.auction has a foal by J-Nius V.V. Z out of the damline of Corbie V.V. in its 2026 collection.
Bluman and Evelyne Van Vreckom's bred mare referred France's Nina Mallevaey to the third spot. The current world number 10 completed the stage aboard My Clementine (Obos Quality). The pair was followed by Conor Swail aboard Casturano (Castelan I). The top five was completed by Sean Jobin and Grande Dame DK (by Cera d'Ick).
