Victory went to Kristaps Neretnieks, who guided Sir Schmidt (Stolzenberg) through two faultless phases and stopped the clock at 34.23s in the second phase. The pair kept their rhythm from start to finish and set a benchmark that proved unbeatable. 

Close behind, Shady Ghrayeb secured second place with Leelandi, also clear, finishing in 34.54s. Third place was claimed by Ireland’s Trevor Breen with Konrad Obolensky (Cornet Obolensky), who completed a flawless round in 34.99s.

The home crowd had more to cheer for as Omar Abdul Aziz Al Marzooqi took fourth with Emeraude de Zabala (Emerald) in 35.04s, while rider Abdullah Humaid Al Muhairi completed the top five with his horse Coenig (Cordobes I), stopping the clock at 35.20s.
