Today, US Equestrian announced that Marilyn Little has withdrawn from consideration for the FEI Jumping World Championships in Aachen. Little was named to the American shortlist with La Contessa (License x Cornet's Prinz).
The rider also shared the news on her social media channels. "Timing is everything," she stated. "Unfortunately, Contessa has sustained a minor injury, preventing us from preparing optimally for the championship. Because the health and well-being of my incredible four-legged partner always comes first, I have decided to withdraw from the selection process."
"I wish the U.S. team the very best of luck in Aachen next month!" the rider concluded.
