Fuchs and his 14-year-old Conner Jei (Connor, breeder: Gerhard Stamer) raced to the win in 34.00 seconds.

Speaking after his win, Martin said –”It was a really great jump off for us today with some long gallops - he has a huge stride - I saw Eduardo before me and he was really really fast, but I wanted to win tonight so it’s a beautiful run!”

He went on to add, “Already last night a full crowd, today again - I really enjoy riding in front of a crowd, and in a facility like this which is so incredible. Connor Jei has won all over the world now to be able to win here in Vienna.in front of the castle, he really deserved that win!”

The pair stayed more than a second ahead of Eduardo Pereira de Menezes with the 10-year-old KWPN mare H5 Knockando (Comme Il Faut). Riding the mare bred by Vera Klumpers, the Brazilian rider pushed Katrin Eckermann into third place.

The German rider completed the podium with the 12-year-old mare Chao Lee (Comme Il Faut, breeder: Otmar Eckermann).

With the KWPN gelding I Know (Arezzo VDL), Jana Wargers took fourth place. Competing on home soil, Bianca Babanitz rounded out the top five with Dakato (Diarado).
