This afternoon, the CSIO5* 1.45m class was held in Brussels. The course was run as a speed class, and the victory ultimately went to Switzerland thanks to Martin Fuchs.
The win was a convincing one for Martin Fuchs (SUI) riding Love de Vie (Grandorado TN). He was nearly two seconds faster than Gerrit Nieberg (GER), who relied on Solaia (Stakkato Gold) to complete the course faultlessly. Third place went to Angelie Von Essen (SWE) aboard Cody 156 (LBD Capistrano).
Just missing out on the podium was Konrad Obolensky (Cornet Obolensky), ridden by Trevor Breen (IRL). The top five was completed by the Zangersheide gelding One And Only Eda Z (Ogano Sitte), ridden by Jason Smith (SUI).
